This is caused by what I'd call a bug in the kernel RPM - kernel-utils
(=ksymoops, basically) is linked dynamically against libbfd, so it doesn't
like binutils updates.
The "fix" is to rpm -e kernel-utils, and recompile ksymoops if you need it
at all.
