disks on chip

Hi all!

Has anybody used disks on chip on linux? Is there something special that
must to be done to make linux detect them?

I've heard that they are directly detected by BIOS as another IDE disk,
so I assume it will be the same as with any disk, but as I'll have to
install some in a month or so, I want to be sure for not having any
problem.
