Hi,
I installed RH 6.1 ( XFree86 3.3.5 ) on a PC with Trident 975 AGP video
card. Although the X server starts up fine but on starting either KDE or
Gnome, the system hangs. Actually, its the first time i am seeing Linux hang
because of X.
Gnome starts, displays the enlightenemnt loading screen and then hangs. KDE
starts shown the startup screen with the toolbar and all the icons and then
hangs.
I am enclosing what i got out of running "X > x.out 2>&1"
