Zach,
there's a back side of the coin as well. If people ('newbies') installs
this 'stuff' and believes that *this* is Linux, then Linux might get a
lot of bad publicity. "No security", etc.
Agreed, it may be used to *show* people how Linux could look if it was
really installed. It could also be used in an environment (at work?)
where you cannot chose OS but where you're allowed to install an app of
yours. I think it's a pity it doesn't run under NT for that reason.
I'm just afraid it may give our beloved Linux bad reputation by
reporters trying it out and believing it's 'the real thing'.
