Hold down the <alt> and type the digits from the keypad. When you release the alt key, the ascii char goes to output. -----Original Message----- From: Hanigan Family [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Monday, December 06, 1999 12:17 AM To: Redhat list Subject: ot: how do you print from extended symbol set Hi, I am sorry for being off topic but I am stuck on this question and thought maybe someone on the list could help me. The HP IIIsi has listed in its reference manuel a whole group of symbol sets. I would like to use the trade mark and registration mark off of one of these symbol sets. I have no problem changeing to the proper symbol set, but I have no idea how to get it to print char 169 and 170 since it is beyond the keyboard. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
