When starting my workstation I get the following error:
Bringing up interface eth0 [ OK ]

route [-v] [-FC] {add|del|flush} ... Modify routing table for AF.

List of possible address families (which support routing):
inet (DARPA Internet) ax25 (AMPR AX.25) netrom (AMPR NET/ROM)
ipx (Novell IPX) ddp (Appletalk DDP)
In the file /var/log/messages there is the line:
Dec 4 22:21:53 beta kernel: eth0: Promiscuous mode enabled.
What is going on here? I must of messed up some config file because I did
not have this problem before.
