Probably. I have a 740. If you run printtool and look at the Epson
drivers or if you read /usr/doc/ghostscript-5.10/devices.txt and look at
their list of printers, the 740 and 750 are not listed. However, at the
end of the list you will find the following note:
"For Epson Stylus Color Models not listed above, the two stc500-Variants
are likely to work besides stcany, but the Gamma-Correction might be
wrong."
In the case of the 740, using these settings produces better results than
I get from Epson's drivers under Windows 95, though IIRC I had to tweedle
with the margins a little using the printtool.
