You can cycle through the resolutions you've chosen by pressing 
CTRL-ALT-+ together.

It really should be as simple as that :)

rpm -Uvh the files, and run the wmaker.inst (?) script to adjust your
X initialisation files.

If you are new to Linux, is there any reason in particular you want to
use Window Maker so soon?

It has a pretty (in a plain kinda way ..) interface, works well and seems
to perform better, but I'm sure more people here would be able to
help you with Gnome/Enlightenment questions....

They both rock.
