Greetings, I have an SiS motherboard with SiS5597/SiS5598 onboard video and I'm having problem making X work when I upgraded from 6.0 to 6.1 6.1 detected SiS5598 but after the probe, failed to display correctly. I then quit and ran Xconfigurator, chose SiS5597, same thing. I then tried choosing SiS6326, X starts fine, but when I run xterm or any other term like konsole or kvt or even wxftp, they won't display properly. Anyone with similar card managed to get their X working properly? Kindly share how you made it work. Thanks, Clare
