This is my first time trying to do anything even remotely close to this
and I am confused so please my ignorance. I am trying to set up 2
ethernet cards in a box that will be used to connect a private
(192.168.0.0) network to the internet via a single ip allocated to me on
the internet. I know I have to use ipchains after the box is up but am
having trouble setting up the 2 nic's so that each one see's their
respective network. FOr instance, eth1 is set up with my internet ip
address and my internet domain name. eth0 is set up with my private ip
address but how do I set up the private domain name or do I use the same
domain name as my internet domain? Any other help tips pointers would be
greatly appreciated. I'd like to get this working before the turn of the
century :) hope this makes sense.
