Hi. I'm running version 6.1 of Red Hat Linux on a Pentium III, mother board ASUS P2-99, and have an HP Laserjet 1100 connected to the parallel port (0x378,7). Although the printer works fine on the other hd partition (Windows95) and has also worked on the same hardware under FreeBSD, the parallel port does not even get detected when Linux boots. Any clues?
