Hi, I am using RH6.0 and have had it running for a few months without any problems, including printing. The other day whentrying to send a print to a printer, nothing happend. I checked the print queue with "lpc", and found that it did not see the daemon - "no daemon" message. Ihave since tried stopping and starting the lpd daemon, rebooting the server and deleting and recreating the print queues, with no print being spooled to the printer. The prints are all buffered in the print spooler... The printers are all remote printers, and I have ensured that the host files, hosts.lpd and all that are correct.
