connect modem

Hi ,
        I have just installed Red Hat 6.0 and when I open KDE PPP I get the
message " The pppd binary must be installed with the SUID bit set . Contact
your systems administrator ". I have been able to connect while in root but
I have this problem whilst logged on in my user account .
