I copied this piece of text a while back. I believe it's your answer!
you may get an error from syslog saying bad option name or syntax then you
will have to recompile tcp_wrappers and comment out the line:
#STYLE = -DPROCESS_OPTIONS # Enable Language Extensions.
Then recompile tcpd.
