Good idea, (except i dislike bzip .. maybe when it's standard with more
distro's...) you can even use:
$ rpm -tb package.tar.gz
according to the man page, this will specify that "RPM should look inside of
a gzipped (or compressed) tar file for the spec file to use."
I've used this before and it works a treat :)
