Hi all, I've logged this with redhat support, but i'll post it here to see who responds first :) I've an Advansys ABP-5140/42 ISA SCSI card in a machine running rh6.1 and when i issue the command: # modprobe advansys The command hangs (can be suspended -- not killed though) and /var/log/messages contains this: Nov 25 13:55:08 bean kernel: scsi0 : AdvanSys SCSI 3.2F: ISA PnP 16 CDB: BIOS C800, IO 110/F, IRQ 11, DMA 6 Nov 25 13:55:08 bean kernel: scsi : 1 host.
