I have a Canon BJ 230(BW only) printing just fine on my RH 5.2 system. In my
case the list of printers in printool did not have my exact printer listed, but
I just picked the closest(BJ 210) and it worked first time.
Yes I print through Ghostscript and your model probably should too.
