Downloading an installable Red Hat tree can be tricky because of problems
preserving symlinks and stupid ftp clients. Basically, you need to use the
perl mirror script to correctly grab the install tree.

You are mostly concerned with the RedHat directory and everything below
it.

There is a howto document that explains how to download and press
a Red Hat cdrom. Most of the info leading up to creating the iso image is
what you need to do when creating an installable Red Hat tree.

http://www.redhat.com/mirrors/LDP/HOWTO/mini/RedHat-CD.html

Don't attempt to download unless you have at least dual channel isdn
or xdsl or cable modem. It will take as long to download over a 56k
modem as it would to have a $1.99 cdrom fedexed to you ;)
