You actually should only have to make _one_ floppy. Do this from any
DOS/Windows PC with an accessible CD-ROM drive.

Go to a command prompt.

>From the RH 6.0 manual:

C:\>d:<ENTER> (where d: is the drive letter of your CD-ROM drive)
D:\>cd \dosutils <ENTER>
D:\dosutils> rawright <ENTER>
Enter disk image source file name: ..\images\boot.img <ENTER> (or
whatever image you're using)
Enter target diskette drive: a: <ENTER>
Please insert a formatted diskette into drive A: and press --ENTER-- :
<ENTER>
D:\dosutils>

This will give you a bootable disk that you can start the install with.

Subject: non boot CD install

How do I install RH 6.1 from a PC that is not capable of booting from
the CD?
Must I make floppies or can I boot from a Dos disk with CD driver
support
and start it up with a command ? ?
If I have to make floppies from RH CD ....how do I do this?

Thanks
morse
