I am running KPilot under KDE-1.1.2 without any problems.  I have KPilot
configured using ttyS0 and it works great.  I have also tested it using cua1
which also worked but I would get errors when trying to run VMware.  Make sure
that your serial ports are setup correctly and that you can use them with some
other device.  Also, make sure that your port speed is setup correctly.  I would
suspect that if your serial ports were configured by the installer, it is your
port speed causing you grief.

Hi! I am sorry if I am posting a question that has been asked many times before
but
I need help. =) I tried jpilot and kpilot but I have no idea why it is not
working,
do you have any recommendations on any palmpilot desktop syncing apps?.  I tried
ttyS0-ttyS2 but is there other possible places I should configure my cradle?Are
there any good information out there other than the pilot HOW-TO's?  I would
appreciate any help you guysy can give me.
