What do you mean "isn't here yet"? There's a number of boards out there.
If you want to roll your own, do some reading on DEJA News and get the low
down on which motherboards and power supplies to buy. (The athelon chipset
is very finiky about power regulation and you need to have something that
is guaranteed compatible.) You'll need to run either one of the development
kernels or I beleive 2.2.13 of the stable releases will work nicely with that.
If you don't want to roll you own, both Compaq and IBM have cheep boxes out
on retail shelves, but I have not researched how smoothly linux is running on
those yet.
