Hello
I was trying to use linuxconf to configure my lilo loader to append some command-lines
to the kernel. However, linuxconf says my root partition /dev/hda1 is invalid or not a
linux partition.
So I went into fdisk and checked the partition table. It showed it as type 83 linux.
All went well, though, when lilo.conf was edited manually. So what happened? Why did
linuxconf tell me my partition was wrong?
