Is anyone seeing strange behavior with named from bind-8.2.2_P3-1?
When we restart our name server, it is taking about an hour to reload, and
its killing all the other network apps on the machine (like radius!). It
seems to start slowly, and then sends out notifies one every four seconds,
meaning that it takes a LOT of time to step through the file if you host a
couple hundred domains!
And then at the end of the process we get dozens of these:

pipe
Is it a misconfiguration in the config files, or is this rushed version of
bind screwy?
