NT is better for sustained high-bandwidth data transfer - i.e. for porn
sites, AFAIR from the Slashdot rebuttal. Also, _stability_ and _cost_ not
really taken into account. Scaleability? I recall reading that NT is more
scaleable. It's entirely possible that NT is superior to Linux in some ways
which show up under a benchmark comparison. The trouble is, most of the
recent studies (Mindcraft and the Gartner Group, I'm looking at you) have
been biased.
