I am benchmarking a K6-III 400 running RH6.1. I have several small
programs which I am trying to use to benchmark and evaluate the K6's
performance.
When i try to to do the following
time ./a.out >>& summary
I get an error message. If i place the ampersand before the redirect, I
still get an error. While this may be a rtfm, I will say, in my defense
that I did read the man pages and it may be this issue is in some fine
print I did not see.
Also any pointers to a good reference/tome on bash shell coding would be
welcome.
