Phooey.

I've run Win95 on 386s on numerous occasions. In fact, I had a 386 on Win95
until just a few weeks ago (it was 'upgraded' to a 486). Do give it a bit a
RAM - 8Mb works fine. It won't be a speed demon, but it will do an adequate
job at tasks like browsing the web, reading & writing Email, etc. In fact,
at one point I even had it serving as a sort of file server for our 3
computer LAN here at home.

Remember the early '90s?

The going paradigm was "What do you need a 386 for? You don't need that.
386s are only for file servers."

How easily we forget.
