Networking hardware

I am beginning a project to network the PCs in my house.  I plan to use
an old PC (P5-133) running Linux as the main server on this network for
Internet and printing.  Also to be networked are an IMAC and some
unknown as yet Windows box.

Can someone point me at a GOOD online source for ordering stuff like
ethernet cards, cabling, hubs, etc.
