Ok, I admit it, I'm a lightweight when it comes to Linux.  :)

I have portsentry compiled and running on my linux box here at work.  I'd like to get 
it to 
start automatically when the system boots.  and I realized i don't have the slightest 
idea 
as to how to do that. 

is there somebody out there that can point me in the right direction?  i've tried man 
for 
rc.d etc.  but that isn't helping.
