Hi,

I am using samba on my home network to mount win98 partitons on my two other
computers. With the version of samba on 6.0 I could put the following in my
/etc/rc.d/rc.local and my volumes would mount on startup.

smbmount //aknebel/C aknebel -c 'mount /home/samba/winC'

This woulod mount the partition automatically.

Now with this new version of samba it will not take the -c flag and also
will not accept the password.

I have to manually mount all my partitions and enter the passwords.

Is this happening to anyonw else or is it just me.

Has anyone found another way to do this?

Thanks
Rick
