Trying to retrieve mail from my ISP, Netscape Mail recently started
having a problem: it will poll the server and begin to download the
messages, then abruptly fail and flash an error message: "Error saving
mail messages".
I can download my mail with fetchmail and read it w/ pine. Also, if I
fire up Netscape as root, there is no problem.
I checked permissions- nothing's been changed. And none of my devices
are anywhere near full. Is there a limit to how many messages Netscape
can store? I have accumulated quite a few in the user account. This is
the only thing I can think of. Any ideas anyone? (Netscape 4.04 on
RH5.0; all other features/functions work fine...)
