Hello Folks:
Anyone got a properly working set up files for procmail? I tried to set
it up with Pine, and read the man pages, but it doesn't seem to work.
Initially, all I want it to do is filter mail for me - eventually, I would
like to get it print out error messages to a logfile for stuff that
procmail wasn't able to process.
I set up my .forward file as:
| /usr/bin/procmail
I set up my .procmailrc file as:
MAILDIR=/var/spool/mail #you'd better make sure it exists
DEFAULT=$MAILDIR/mike #completely optional
LOGFILE=/var/log/procmail #recommended
:0:
* ^To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
redhat
I'm simply trying to put mail that I receive from this list into a folder
called "redhat" in my mailbox. I created the folder in pine, so I know
it's there. Any suggestions please?
