Today I had occasion to log in to one of my remote servers at the terminal. It had been "up" for 45 days, redhat 4.2. Instead of the usual greeting login, the screen had these error messages: eth0: tramsnit timed out, Tx_status 88 stats 2004 Tx FIFO room 2004 there were 6 more of these messages, only difference was the ending number, which were as follows: 956 1308 936 1056 1056 932 Can anyone explain what these errors mean, and if this is anything to be concerned about? Everything seemed to work OK.
