Today I had occasion to log in to one of my remote servers at the
terminal. It had been "up" for 45 days, redhat 4.2.

Instead of the usual greeting login, the screen had these error messages:

eth0: tramsnit timed out, Tx_status 88 stats 2004 Tx FIFO room 2004

there were 6 more of these messages, only difference was the ending
number, which were as follows:
956
1308
936
1056
1056
932

Can anyone explain what these errors mean, and if this is anything to be
concerned about? Everything seemed to work OK.
