Hello;

I have been running linux for probably 6 months now, but never compiled my
kernal.
I run Linux on 2 machines.. A LapTop, and a DeskTop. I compiled and
configured my Desktop kernal with no problems. Although, on my LapTop, I
screwed it up big time, and I think I need to do a complete reinstall.
Only... Here's the problem. My LapTop won't boot off the CD like my tower
would, and I have to use diskettes since I need the PCMIA support. Only...
Just before I was going to install, my Floppy Drive on the laptop died. Is
there any way I can reinstall, or boot from the CD? Oh yea... I forgot to
tell you... I screwed up the CDROM part in my kernel, and can't access a 'fs
type iso9660'
I've recompiled 3 times making sure I included support for it... but it
won't work.  HEEEELP heheh

T.I.A.

Pete
