Would someone please give me some hints on using /etc/usertty? I
read the man page for login where it explains the format of the
/etc/usertty file, but no matter what I do to the file, nothing
ever changes at login. All logins continue to be put on ttyp#
where # is the next available tty. Is this file supposed to do
something?

I created a test user called testme and put him in a group users
with the rest of my users. My /etc/usertty file was given a
single line:

testme ttyz8 @10.1.154.2/255.255.255.255

I get the impression that when testme tries to log in from host
10.1.154.2, it will stick him on ttyz8 and he can use the system.
If testme tries to log in from any other host, the login will
fail. If testme tries to log in twice, only the first will work.

Your explanations would be helpful.

Thanks!
