Hello all of you that have helped this ignorant SOB so far and may many
more join the crowd : )

I have compiled the 2.0.33 kernel and added a joliet patch 0.2.9 for fat32
support. I have the RH5.0 release installed. I included msdos, dos, fat,
and vfat support into the kernel. When I try to mount one of the fat32
partitions, mount tells me "fs vfat not supported by kernel". I have tried
mounting it as fat, msdos, and dos, as well as vfat.

Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BTW the partitions mount fine with the 2.029 kernel I have from a previous
slackware dist., but I can't start X if I am running that kernel.

Gary
