Sorry it took this long to say some thanks to Chris Frost, Greg Fall, Ray
Curtis, and Marco Shaw (hope I didn't miss anyone else) for the assistence
with my "libc.*" queries; demanding hours at work prevent me from spending
the amount of time tinkering with Linux that I'd like; it took me a week to
get the time to try out everyone's suggestions.

The step by step procedures on Ray's web page were very straightforward and
easy to follow; after getting over the one minor hurdle with running the
script file, everything else was a piece of cake.

That's what I really like about the Linux community; I've never had a
technical question that's gone unanswered for more than a day or two on a
mailing list like this. Whoever claims that tech support for Linux is
non-existent just hasn't learned about mailing lists or Usenet yet!

Regards,

Paul Greene
