This is so simple, once you do it once! Just do the DOS and/or Win install.
When you start to load Linux,
at some later date, my experience is that you need to know how much disk you
have used (or dedicated to) DOS OS(leave some growing room), but make sure that
the first cylinder of the Linux will be below cylinder 1023. Then, make a
Linux Native (t = type 83) partition of about 400 MB for a minimum Linux
install, or above 700 MB for a full Linux install. I want to leave several
hundred MB space for future use by programs and files. Last, I make the Linux
Swap partition (t=type 82) swap partition of double my RAM but not over 128 MB,
which can be anywhere on that drive. If you ever load Win95 after the Linux,
Win95 writes over MBR and you lose Linux. Have the Linux rescue disks handy!
If you then put the LILO into the hda1(first IDE hard disk) MBR (Master Boot
Record), LILI will come up before the note "Starting Windows 95" and you can
start Linux or the other OS's and GUI's with TAB key.
