Twice in the last week I've had my ethernet card up and die on me. It's an Intel Ether Express 100MBit card running redhat on a 2.0.33 kernel on a dual P150 motherboard. The console then scrolls the following repeatedly and writes it to /var/log/messages: May 7 23:30:34 geek kernel: eth0: Transmit timed out: status 7048 command 0000. This machine has been functioning perfectly for almost 8 months in this hardware configuration. =-=-=-=-=-= Robert Hayden [EMAIL PROTECTED] UIN: 3937211 IP Network Administrator http://rhayden.means.net MEANS Telcom (612) 230-4416 -- PLEASE read the Red Hat FAQ, Tips, Errata and the MAILING LIST ARCHIVES! http://www.redhat.com/RedHat-FAQ /RedHat-Errata /RedHat-Tips /mailing-lists To unsubscribe: mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe" as the Subject.
