I just installed RH5.1 including the nonsecurity fix errata. I then installed gnome 0.20 along with the supporting files. When I try to start up the panel I get the following error message debug: need old_cfg started applet, pid xxx address.cc:437 assertion failed Aborted (core dumped) * ERROR ** could not communicate with the panel I also installed this on a machine at work, at it starts up fine there.
