I have a printer attached directly to the network, at the moment, the queue resides
on a yukky NT box, I am working on a project to use Linux to totally replace the
NT box, (no big deal), however getting samba to recognise a printer directly
on the network, is proving to be tricky.

I assume I would have to write a printer deamon to use the printer, or is there one
    already available?

I would be grateful for any suggestions
