I am trying to restore to a new PC from BRU. I install a fresh copy of RH4.2 from CD, partition and format the drive, install BRU, and attempt the restore using bru -xvvv -ua (I've also tried setting the buffer to 5K and 10K with no difference) It goes along just fine and then I get an error: couldn't get a free page Then the hard drive churns a little bit and the restore goes on a little more and I get the same error. This happens a few times and then it stops with out of memory for update and/or segmentation error. Does anyone know what might be wrong? Or more importantly, how to fix it?
