Why don't you take a look at the AMD K6 CPUs. I have been thinking of
getting one of these when I upgrade my older 120Mhz Pentium. The price
is good and I've heard of many success stories with Linux on this list
from
people that already use them. Also my AOpen motherboard has a jumper
setting for these chips. ;-)
