Sam,
I have played around with 2 programs.  Gerd Knorr's scsi changer module and
mtx.  I had
the most success with mtx.  It is on the www.dandelion.com linux page. 
It's from the guy
who wrote the Buslogic driver for Linux.  I could get the tapes to change. 
I just had
problems making it work with BRU and modifying their changer script to make
it work.
If you success in making mtx work well with BRU please let me know.
