In Netscape, under Edit-Preferences-Advance-Proxies click on the manual
proxy settings and add the appropriate proxy server name or IP and the
port to use there. Click OK to save, and away you go....works like a
charm. As for the RPMs, there are two ways to do this, one is to right
mouse click on the link to the RPM and 'save link as,' alternatively you
could add a MIME/type for this file type and tell netscape to always
save to disk. This happened to me when i first tried downloading an RPM
using netscape until i right mouse clicked to save the file. The
MIME/types are under Edit-Preferences-Navigator-Applications, you'll
need to ADD one here using the NEW button and simply tell netscape how
to handle files of this typ.
HOPE THIS HELPS!!
