There are also man pages for dhcpd.conf and dhcpd. 

One caveat:
When you are ready to configure dhcpd.conf, look through the man page for
dhcpd.conf, there is a sample config file in the man page for dhcpd but it
didn't work on my system (it lacked certain critical info). I had to read 
through the man page for dhcpd.conf and build the file from scratch but it
was amazingly simple.
