We are running 3Com's 3C905B-TX 100MBIT cards in Dell Pentium II machines.
We are also running Intel EtherPro Express 100 cards on Pentium Pro
machines.. Under linux Redhat 5.0 the 3COM cards work fine when talking to
other 3com cards at 100MBIT.. however if the 3com card talks to any other
card (intel or a sun microsystems ethernet card) the machine with the 3com
card drops to about 4 mbit/s on the 100mbit network... is anyone aware of a
problem with the 3com drivers under linux? The cards work fine at 10MBIT but
not at 100..
Any ideas?
