I use mgetty for ppp and login dialup, and yeah the setup has some
complications but most of them come from the fact that the mgetty docs tend to
be in a funny place.  The new rpm's might have that taken care of.  You can
find them at ftp://ftp.redhat.com/pub/contrib/hurricane/i386/, where there are
several mgetty*rpm's to choose from.
