Does anyone know of a communications program that will
permit me to login to a Vax via a serial port connection?
Following the instructions in the Linux Serial HOWTO
I've tested the serial port with a modem, using C-kermit
and minicom, and they work fine. But if I substitute the
Vax line for the modem, neither C-kermit nor minicom gets
a response. (By contrast, the MS-DOS version of Kermit
running under Windows 95 will connect to the Vax as well
as the modem.)
