Unix was in "general use" long before M$ was born. I don't think it'll
fly.

Fortunetly, now that we have the source, even if Netscape goes down, the
browser will never die. Take that, Billy! <grin>

Anyway, it's more-or-less general knowledge that they already do, they
just don't talk about it.

Cool...We could get rid of our five NT boxen, then! :) Seriously,
though..this could be a problem. If it meant that we couldn't use windows
95 on the sales, HR and other non-technical staff's machines. If linux
could become *really* user friendly before that point (yeahyeah, we've all
seen this debate) though *and* come up with advertising that appealed to
management (since no one has to convince the techs :) ) it could very well
be the nail in it's coffin. I *know* that there's no way in hell that an
NT machine would be able to stand up to the amount of mail our mail server
handles, or the dns servers or anything else, really.. and we'd have to
double our sysadmin staff (NT is much, much more sysadmin-intensive than
unix). Yes, I think that that could be a real bad thing for M$ to do to
themselves.

blah.
