Hi all,
Well I've finally gotten RH5 and XFree86 running not too badly on my
machine. I've also configured (I think) the PPP networking setup for my
local provider. However, after dialup, I'm not able to see if a connection
is actually made, or what sort of progress my dialup attempt is making. Is
there a log file somewhere that can give me that info, or someway of piping
that info from my modem into a logfile.
PS When I try to ftp my ISPs site, I get a "host not found" message.
